Designed for Nephros Ministries and Project Angel Tree

 

Problem: The client wanted to design impactful cards that could be delivered to incarcerated or forgotten people on their birthdays. The purpose was to bring a message of hope to those who would otherwise despise the day they were born.
Our Goal: Design a set of 8 cards based off the copy provided by the client that people would actually want to receive.
How we went about it: I read through the copy for the cards and gathered imagery that would work for each of the cards. I then began the handlettering – which was based on a typeface (Swistblnk Monthoers) and I developed designs around that.
